Gerber Park

Gerber Park

Location: Central Seattle
Address: Martin Luther King Jr. Way and E. Cherry St.
Acreage: 0.16

Gerber Park stretches alongside Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Seattle’s Central District and catches the eye of passing drivers with its interesting mosaic pillars.

Local kids built the eight structures in 2002, sometimes called urban totems, that each stand 12 feet tall. This is the same organization that created art for Flo Ware Park, as well as many other public venues.

The park is named after Sidney Gerber, a Seattle businessman and art collector who died in the 1960s.
