Pinehurst Playfield is sports central for the Northgate neighborhood. As I checked out the amenities, which include ball fields for baseball/softball and soccer and a basketball court, a vanful of 10-year-olds bounded out into the sunshine to play.
The sunken play area is definitely worth a visit for its nice variety of elements for both little and big kids. This is a great community park.
