The South Park Playground is part of the South Park Community Center complex, which offers the South Park neighborhood virtually every kind of fun activity you can imagine.
The community center has daily, year-round activities for all ages. You can play basketball, roll around on mats, use the computer lab, take a class and much more.
The park has a wading pool in the summer, plus huge playfields for soccer and baseball/softball, tennis courts, volleyball courts and a kids playground. Another cool feature is the running track that surrounds one of the fields that’s been constructed out of some type of bouncy material. It feels wonderful to walk on and must be a great place to run laps if you’re tired of the wear of cement on the legs.
There’s really no excuse for a kid–or adult–in this neighborhood to be bored.
