The most interesting thing about this small park near the freeway in South Park is the cool steel structure that turns an otherwise nondescript public space into a real gathering area. It almost looks like the park is designed for small concerts, with terraced concrete steps and what looks like it could be a tiny stage opposite.
I think it would be a great place to listen to live music and honor Mr. Chavez.
