Acreage: 11.2

If you haven’t been in the High Point neighborhood in West Seattle lately (or ever), this park isn’t the only reason to visit.

Sitting on the edge of a new, huge, award-winning planned community, High Point Playfield looks a little worn compared to its new surroundings. But, this park has one of almost everything: a tennis court, a softball/baseball field, a playground, a football field.

The best thing about this park is with 11-plus acres, it’s a big open space in a neighborhood that is now particularly dense with this new development. There is tons of room for kids to run around and play on the big grass fields.

And, from this frolicky site you can even take in some nice views of downtown and the Cascades.
