Location: Wallingford/University District
Address: 4th Ave. N.E. and N.E. Northlake Way
Acreage: Approx. 0.15

This secret waterfront spot sits along the Burke-Gilman Trail between Wallingford and the U-District and close to North Passage Point Park. If you look closely as you walk or bike this area, you’ll find many small pieces of public waterfront available to explore.

This is one of the best with an inviting path that’s paved with a mix of bricks and stone. It curves into the park swirling out into a couple of seating areas where you’ll find picnic tables and a beautiful curved bench with views of Lake Union. Look out onto the busy waterway and boat activity all around.

The best feature of the park is the small art pieces. Look around and you’ll find historic photos of Seattle that seem to be pressed and preserved into the rocks. The primary artist is Elizabeth Conner, who worked in collaboration with landscape architect Cliff Willwerth, designer David Gulassa, artist Laura Brodax, historian Paul Dorpat and the Center for Wooden Boats.
