Dogs, you have it good if your owner works for Amazon. In addition to Amazon’s employee-only dog park inside the spheres, there’s a small off-leash area in the outdoor plaza that’s open to all dogs and their workers. The space is part of the private development but is open to the public.

Enter from 6th Avenue through the publicly-accessible walkway and you’ll find the 1,000-square-foot off-leash area. The cozy space is fenced and is mostly concrete except a small turf pad. Lots of lush plants around the edges and benches that you sort of lean on makes for a nice spot for people to hang out, too.

Other off leash dog parks in or around downtown include Plymouth Pillars, Denny Park, I-5 Colonnade and Regrade Park. You can also check out the city’s off-leash website.
