There’s quite a variance among the street ends parks you’ll find in Seattle as many haven’t been truly developed into parks. S. Judkins Street End is an example of a very nice waterfront greenspace that’s worth a visit.

Look for the public shoreline sign leading to the water. Whereas many of the street ends have thick brush obstructing views of the water, at this spot there are only a few small trees and shrubs. A section of grass is large enough for several people to enjoy this park at the same time. You won’t find much of a beach, so this isn’t the best spot to wade or toss rocks in the water, but I can trade that for the ideal picnic spot on the grass.

It’s important to note that the dock immediately to the north belongs to the neighboring home.

From here, continue north to S. Norman Street End.
