Day Street Boat Ramp

Day Street Boat Ramp

Location: South Seattle/Mount Baker
Address: 1402 Lakeside Ave. S.
Acreage: 1.0

Almost directly under the I-90 floating bridge (which by the way did you know is the second-longest floating bridge in the world?) you’ll find Day Street Boat Ramp.

This is a “hand-carry” boat launching area, meaning if you have a kayak or canoe, this is a good place to set off. For a list of all the city’s boat launches, “hand-carry” and motorized visit the Parks Department’s web site.

With or without a boat, this is a nice place to pause for a view of the lake. Nearby parks include Lake Washington Boulevard, Colman Park and East Portal Viewpoint.
