Another one of my favorite spots along Lake Washington Boulevard is this boat launch. Although it’s a great place to set off on your kayak, it’s also a scenic picnic spot with picnic tables and a pleasant gently sloped lawn.
Pull your car or bike off the road and park in the small, almost hidden parking area. This is a great spot to linger and enjoy views of Seward Park and the Cascade Mountains.
