Bar-S Playground is a large park that hides itself in the Alki area of West Seattle by being just barely off the busy main drag. Designed to host Little League games, it should be called Bar-S Ballfields, because there are two large ones (but no kids playground).

The large grass fields used to be a sewage plant, but were turned into a playground in the 50’s with the rise of popularity in Little League.

A grant from the Mariners and Boeing is helping to completely revamp the playfields and bleachers.
