This park is so new the city hasn’t put up a page on their web site yet. You’ll find it at the north end of Hunter Boulevard in the Mount Baker neighborhood.
The day I passed by, a class of kids from the local church school were using it as a playground. They dashed up onto the flat grass and headed straight for the tall evergreen trees that had nice hiding places between the trunks.
Trudy was a Seattle Parks Commissioner who lived across the street. We have Trudy partly to thank for helping Seattle buy and preserve a little spot called Discovery Park.
