I discovered a cool, very walkable corner of the Mount Baker neighborhood today.
Begin at Mount Claire Park, which is basically a wooded hillside that I passed as I strolled the beautiful streets of this part of south Seattle. This park isn’t worth stopping for, but it does take you along a quiet street that gives views of Lake Washington.
From here, continue your walk south along Cascadia Ave. S. to reach more parks, more great views and more incredible old homes.
