Location: Central Seattle
Address: E Madison St. and Pike St.
Acreage: 0.06

McGilvra Place is almost always occupied by a couple of homeless folks snoozing on its grassy lawn, which makes it less of a draw for others in seeking out a Seattle park to enjoy.

But, one thing to note about this park as you pass by is the gorgeous canopy of trees, which I believe are maples, that completely shade the park. It’s also an old Seattle park, having been created in 1901 according to city records.
