I visited Horiuchi Park in the miserable pouring rain. The little path running through this small park off busy Boren Ave. had turned into a muddy stream, not inviting a lot of lingering. I did pause to see if I could catch sight of a view from this elevation, but it was not meant to be on this gray day. C. Paul Horiuchi was a Japanese immigrant and well-known artist who passed away in 1999. You can see his art at Greg Kucera Gallery.
