The Interbay Athletic Complex is quite a complex. More than $8 million went into creating a nine-hole golf course, driving range, putting course, soccer stadium (including seats for 900 fans) and baseball/softball/t-ball fields.
If you’re thinking $8 million is a lot of bucks, you’ll be happy to hear the city didn’t foot the whole bill. The complex is actually a partnership with Seattle Pacific University and Interbay Golf Centers.
I watched some very impressive soccer players warming up for practice. Looks like they have a top-notch facility that matches their skills.
