Webster Park is the little playground and lawn located next to Ballard’s Nordic Heritage Museum. Both the museum and this park used to be part of the former Webster Elementary School property owned by the Seattle School District.

Earlier this year the city bought the park space, and its neighbors are relieved that it will officially stay a city of Seattle park.

In addition to some playground equipment and a few benches, you’ll find a cool sundial at Webster Park. You’ll need a sunny day to test its accuracy, but this beautiful piece is fun to look at even on the cloudy day that we found it.
