Acreage: 0.56

Fremont’s beloved troll has a new park to play in next door to his hiding spot under the Aurora Bridge.

What was once an overgrown, weed-filled hillside is now a beautiful green space with a paved path perfect for strolling. It’s also a convenient passage for people living in the neighborhood to connect between N. 36th St. and bus stops on Fremont Way N. near the bridge.

The path cuts through a gently sloping lawn that would be a nice spot for a summer picnic. At the north end you’ll find a new neighborhood P-patch with 29 plots that were already bursting with veggies when I visited this summer.

This park is a great reason to play tourist and visit always-changing Fremont!
