Location: Snohomish
Address: Access at 1st Street and Avenue D, Snohomish
Length: One-third mile

If you’re in the Snohomish area for antiquing or fall farm visits, take time to stroll the Snohomish River Front Trail. This short trail is the best way to get close to the scenic Snohomish River.

The trail connects two parks along the way, Kla Ha Ya Park and Cady Landing, the latter where you can launch or boat or fish from the shore. The River Front Trail is flat and paved, so sauntering is the style here, and this is a great walk for the oldest and youngest members of the community.

Illustrated plaques along the walkway talk about the river’s flood history and the area’s geologic features. Don’t miss the sign that shows the highest flood level ever recorded.

Snohomish has two other great parks to recommend, Miner’s Corner County Park (almost in Bothell) with its fantastic playground and Willis Tucker Park (just five miles away) with lovely walking paths and an off-leash area.
