I find this park nearly impossible to get to by car. It’s on a small street just off the very busy Banner Way N.E. near Green Lake that’s clogged with traffic right now due to road construction.
A better way is on foot where you’ll find yourself suddenly in a surprisingly quiet and peaceful park just above I-5. A couple of benches and an open grass space are the only real features, but on a clear day you can also get a nice view of the Olympic Mountains.
